I must confess that the idea of spending two hours sitting in a chair listening to an orchestra sounded a little monotonous to me; therefore, I didn’t know what to expect from the concert. But is there anything better than being greatly surprised by something that surpasses your expectations? That is exactly what happened!
Why? Primarily because Symphony Hall is a gold wonderland - literally. Its architecture and the richness of detail are mind-blowing. It is the perfect scenario to leave all your problems behind, get lost in music, and relax.
During the two hours of music I experienced different emotions and feelings. When they played Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, I was thrown back to my childhood, when I used to take flute classes.
At the end of the concert I was refreshed and wanting to listen to more of it! It was a memorable night, and I hope you will also have a chance to experience something like it!
